Multiple candidates in one application

Hello.

We typically give grants to departments at institutions and individual Principal Investigators (PI). However, there may be more than one PI on an application. How can we add that to the database without double-dipping? In other words, we don't want to give twice the money to two people when it's one research study.

Thanks,

Jane

@Jane Van Ingen - Hi Jane: Many of the research organizations that I work with will include a Principal Investigator as the primary contact, and then add another contact role “Co-Investigator”. This allows you to track both contacts in the system as they relate to a project. You will still want to review the project contact once they come into the system to ensure each person has not applied separately, but it would be a simple contact last name look up. Hope that helps!
