Hello all…I am getting over Covid so maybe my brain is just going haywire but I am having the hardest time putting some lists together….
1. I need 2023 donors with emails as a list in webview
2. list of 2023 donors without emails that i can export an address for
3. Finally, I need a list of all remaining email addresses in our database not on either of the first two lists. WHEW thanks for any help

    @Whitney Shelton Well since you only have one list that actually has emails, once you create a new query of all the emails in your database, do a merge of that query minus the 2023 donors with emails.

    @Whitney Shelton From my database, email is not a field that we can filter on Lists. It is only possible in database view and annoyingly depending on how many different phone fields you have…

    For an email system, it is very hard to manage constituent's emails and sort on those. I think you would be better off going into database view and creating them like @Joe Moretti said.

    As others have said, the cleanest way is to make the first 2 lists and then merge them out of list 3, as queries in database view:

    • Query 1: giving summary (gifts in 2023 greater than or equal to 1) AND email address not blank
    • Query 2: giving summary (gifts in 2023 greater than or equal to 1) AND email address blank AND address processing address 1 not blank
    • Query 3: email address not blank – then merge out Queries 1 & 2

    I would add that once you have your lists in database view, you can pull them over into webview Lists and do whatever you need as far as email marketing there.
