Does anyone use the Nightly Backup to supplement their SKY-api reports?

Good morning,

My name is Margaret Williams and I am the Prospect Research and Strategy Officer at Avera Foundation in South Dakota. We are a Health Care System.

Frustration with the limited fields available with SKY-api lead my organization to purchase the nightly backup of Raiser's Edge.

Our IT staff is trying to automate the daily download using Azcopy and Active Batch but we are unable to get it to work.

If you use the nightly backup - what procedure to you use to Automate the download?

I appreciate any help you can recommend.

    We don't use nightly backup, instead only use SKY API and RE:Queue. I have over 30 Power BI reports that's based on Azure data warehouse that has RE and FE data sync-ed.

    What information you are not getting from SKY API, maybe I can help point you to a good way to get it without dealing with nightly backup.

    I apologize for the delay in responding.

    Reading your reply, I believe our problem with unavailable fields is more our fault. Or, should I say our budget's fault perhaps? When we tried using SKY we didn't do anything with an Azure data warehouse. I believe perhaps - lack of expertise may be the problem.

    Would you be available for a virtual meeting or phone call?
