Our school uses the Session to distinguish P&L activity between Day School and Summer School and budgets for each separately. It there a way to incorporate the session into FENXT budget features?

    in your FENXT database, how is Session Tracked? Depending on how that is tracked, it may be possible.

    @Kevin Brazell Session was set up as a Transaction Code by our Blackbaud rep when setting up.

    We have a similar situation. For how big a deal BB makes about transaction codes, I have not found how to enter budgets with the transaction code either.

    ok thank you for the clarification. FE will let you budget by 1 single transaction code type. The catch is, it has to be the one linked to the grant business rule, that you want to use that t code to track grants and grant records. So if that is already taken, then you can't use “Sessions” there. Also if you use Sessions there and in the future want to now use Grants and Tcodes to track, you can't change it from Sessions. So food for thought. But technically you can use 1 t code type to budget by, as long as it's linked to the business rules in grants to link that t code type to grant records.
