Maiden Name in NXT

Hello Everyone.

Is there a way to add the maiden name in a Constituent List in NXT, or to be able to pull it? We use the maiden name field in the database for our female alumni, but can't seem to pull that data in NXT.

Thank you.

@Bernard Nemis I think you're looking for another piece of data that can not be filtered/pulled in NXT lists.

db view maiden name is webview former name.

not sure if you are already aware of that, however, it is not available in Constituent List.

try searching in IdeaBank to see if there's already an idea to have this, otherwise, you can add a new idea to be voted on

Yup. I tried researching on both Maiden Name and Former Name. Unfortunately to no luck. Thank you, Alex.

our org renamed the use of Maiden name as Optional Line (db view can rename field name but not honor by webview). So Maiden name is available to be edited on the constituent page when editing name, and Maiden name = Former name on webview.

however, Former Name isn't a column that can be added to Constituent List.

Thank you JoAnn. As mentioned by Alex, it's not available in the constituent block. The settings allow us to include the middle name, but not the maiden name. I thought of a work around with addressee, but even that is not available in the columns.

@Bernard Nemis FYI, I found two different ideas for adding maiden/former name to Lists. I think I had voted for these when I was with my former org, since it is an all girls high school, but I cannot see names.

    RENXT-I-3063 and RENXT-I-3798.

Thanks, Alex. Unfortunately our development officers would like to view/pull that data point from a list. They can definitely see the Former Name (if available) from the upper left corner of NXT but would love it if there's a way to see those in a given list. At this point, will just continue to pull the list from DB. Thank you.

strongly suggest you (and ask others in your org) to vote on the ideas that Miki sent in the reply and hope Blackbaud will add to their roadmap sooner

Thank you, Miki. One person mentioned that it is available as a column, but I don't see it in NXT. The comment was a few years back, so things might have changed at the back of NXT.
