    @Alex Wong - I suspect the difference here has to do being hosted on Azure. You can get a copy of your database back-up but your current instance cannot be overwritten. Anything you want to restore has be brought from the back-up copy into your instance, manually.

    hmm . i'm going to reach out to my customer success manager regarding this.

    I still finds it odd.

    We have 2 environments, test and production. While I have not “refreshed” our test environment with production since migrated to RE NXT beginning of 2022, we almost did and went through the whole process with Blackbaud. To say that we can't do it is “odd”.

    Unless by “refreshing” test environment with production means a new test environment with production database instead of “restoring” production backup onto the test environment.
