E-Receipts from database view

Hi, we've just updated to RENXT recently. I've got some outstanding committed gift batches that require e-receipts to be sent and these batches were created prior to our NXT upgrade. Can I e-receipt these in database view and if you've done it, what are the steps you took? I've tried setting up a mail merge and testing with my own test gift and personal e-mail address (I can do the print function with the Word Document Exporter), but nothing gets sent to me and no PDF is produced. I'm kind of stuck having to get these out by e-mail if I can. Any suggestions? Thanks!

    @Susan Yoksimovich - Unfortunately, it is not possible to email donors from Database View; this integration was removed in Feb 2022. You will need to create an export file, merge the letters and then email them yourself.

    Alternatively, you could utilize the Receipting feature in Web View (emailing is possible) or build a Power Automate flow to run this process for you (emailing is also possible).

    @Austen Brown Hi Austen, thank you so much for letting me know! I suspected that was the case but I thought there was something magical that I wasn't aware of and it would happen. I've got a meeting this morning with our NXT consultant and I'm going to ask him about the automated function but otherwise, web view batches it is. Have a great week!
