Canadian taxes - HST

Check your default accounts for the taxes. (Payables - configuration - default accounts)

Hmm… this is testing my memory from 4 years ago. What do you have filled out on the General tab? Does it look something like this?

And then in sales tax items do you have HST?

And when you open HST does it look like this?

Lastly the Activity Types; I think we had to manually fill in the PST rebate, and make sure the box is checked.

That looks correct to me and what ours looks like. I do see the two accounts for the HST rebates. I don't know which province you are in to double-check the calculations.

Validate the payable posting and look at the JE there to see what it will post like.
