Generating Acknowledgment Letter from NXT View

I was curious if there was a way to generate a printed acknowledgment letter from the NXT view. I am very comfortable doing this from RE7 view, but I'll be on paternity leave for a while and am thinking whoever fills in for me (gift entry/acknowledgment) might be stymied by the database view. Any ideas on this, or just write a good comprehensive guide on the RE7 mode?

    You can create PDF receipts in the web view! They are called receipts but you can give them the look and feel of acknowledgement letters. They are downloadable and printable.

    Also, if you're going to be out on leave, it might be easier on your sub to send some of them via email, which is also an option in the web view for your donors who have a valid email.

    Thank you for your quick reply. I'm looking through these help topics and I think it may be because I'm new to NXT but I am unable to find many of these fields. Are there potentially screen grabs that illustrate this?

    Specifically:

    I don't see where Generate PDF receipts is under Constituents. Any help is appreciated.

    Actually, I think I figured this out, but I'm pretty unhappy with the look of the “acknowledgment” receipt. I think it looks okay for an email touch-point but not for a print document. I appreciate the help and think I will find another workaround or just go with the RE7 version.

    @Salvatore Sciandra Good afternoon, I was looking one of you post from Dec 2021 about acknowledgement letters and you did mention that you know how to do that in RE7, I have been trying to do that from the database view can you please share some resource or step to do that?

    Hi Payal, unfortunately you cannot generate letters automatically from RE7 any longer, HOWEVER you can create a query with the information you wished to incorporate into your acknowledgment letter and from there do mail merges on your own computer (this is what I do). It's an inelegant way to deal with the situation but something I've come to accept. Not sure if this answer is at all helpful to you.

    @Salvatore Sciandra Search the blackbaud mentrketplace for acknowledgement letters. There are a few solutions that are free if you process under 400 letters a month or year. Most of them work only in RENxt.
