FYI: My dashboards are missing!

When I went to use my Dashboard this morning to check on the status of expense management requests (the only way to see these) they were gone! Instead I found a note saying : “Use Dashboards and Dashboard builder to assess your organization’s overall accounting performance and effectiveness. We recommend you use these features at least once per month to maintain activity.” Upon enabling there is note that “Since the Analysis feature area may take up to 24 hours to enable, we recommend you check back periodically.” I do not recall seeing this before. But there is a February 5, 2024 knowledge base article about it

I forget the exact date but this has been a function of the dashboards for quite a while now. I think since dashboard builder was released. If no one in the entire organization uses dashboards at least once a month, you'll see that message and have to enable it. But the data should come back and you can use it again. If nothing else, set a monthly reminder to check in and keep the dashboards active.

  • @Kevin Brazell I have set myself a monthly reminder and it has worked until this month when it was missing again. Is there a more precise time frame that I should be using rather than “monthly” or "once per month" (e.g. every 28 days)?

the KB article about it says once a month. Otherwise , that's the only timeframe I've seen published. Perhaps set the reminder for bimonthly? But if it happens like that again, I'd say support needs to look at your database on the backend as I've seen weird things happen and until we made a case, it couldn't get resolved.
