Assignment Center Calendar NOT WORKING

I always plan my assignments by looking at the Calendar View in the assignment center. However, for the past week (starting at about 3/24/24) the calendar view is totally blank. I can see the assignments in list view but that is not how I plan assignments and assessments. My Blackbaud administrator has input this to Blackbaud but has only received milquetoast responses. Apparently it is not very high on the list of problems. Personally, I think it should be at the top of the list for teachers. Has anyone else experienced this? Have other schools put in complaints about this? I really believe it should be addressed and fixed (not workaround) ASAP. Thanks Steve Bailey (Frederick Gunn School)

@Steven Bailey I know this isn't ideal - but you can go to My Day-→Assignment Center and get to Calendar view there and add assignments from the grid. Downfall is that all your classes will show in this view - not the individual classes.

My name is Mike and I'm one of the Product Managers looking after the Learning Management System.

I'm sorry for the frustration this defect has caused. To implement the fix, we needed some backend updates to take effect that require our Tuesday release. You'll be able to get back to that calendar view again starting tomorrow.

Like Kathy had mentioned, if you would like to still see your assignments in a calendar view, using the Assignment Center is a great alternative. If you only want to see one class at a time, there is a filter button you can select that will allow you to only show certain class sections in the view.

Thanks for the information but tonight after I got back to work at 8pm the calendar view has returned. My concern was that I took more than a week to get this back and it was a serious problem. Not sure who fixed it but thanks… Hopefully, there is a better way for Blackbaud to prioritize teachers needs, as this was a serious issue (at least for me).
