Enrollment Events

We have been using our enrollment events quite a lot, really appreciate having this option! However, we've run into some issues that really make things frustrating. I've gone through the ideas bank and added thoughts there, but maybe there are some solutions or workarounds that others have discovered?

Here are our main pain points:

  • Reporting - this has improved, but its still super clunky and there is seemingly no way to monitor or report on event fees paid (or not paid)
  • Fees - in addition to reporting (it is actually a huge problem for financial reporting that we can't see a list of paid fees per event with service charges etc, just the overall amount for the main event category) it would be incredibly helpful to have the ability to offer a few options for fees and/or a discount code option. Right now we use a waiver code and direct people to another payment processor if they can't just pay the flat fee, but that adds to the reporting problem.
  • Changing events - we do not see a way to change an attendee from one event to another.

    @Amanda Polson I'm happy to hear our events are working well for you for the most part, and thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on the areas that aren't working well! I wanted to let you know we already have some work planned that will allow you to switch which event an attendee is signed up for so that should be available a little later this year. We're also discussing options for a discount code of some sort - no guarantees for any changes on that at this time, but we'll do our best to give you more options if we can.

    I hadn't heard any feedback yet on reporting on fees, but I can see where that would be helpful, so we'll take a look at that too to see what we can do to help with that.

    We were in the EAP for Events and are generally happy with the improvements. However, we still have an issue with nametags. There are options to select (Name, Grade entering, year entering, pronouns etc), but no matter what we select it generates Prefix, First Name and Last Name. We do not want any prefix and just want Preferred Name, Last Name and entering grade. Will this be fixed? I did vote in the Ideas…

    @Sarah Smythe we have this on our list to look at soon, but I don't have an exact timeframe for when we'll be able to make a change. Stay tuned!

  • @Kelsey Huijgen I am trying to print nametags for our upcoming admissions events but I just get an error message. Also, we want to make sure we have the option to exclude the Mr./Mrs/Miss.
