New Security Roles

Does anyone have any idea what the new Security Roles recently rolled out mean? Communications and Marketing seem awfully similar.

    @Lee Grisham I am just now having time to even look at these roles. What is Extensibility roles?

    @Lee Grisham Lee, Marketing refers to the Marketing menu which includes Email (mass email). Where are you seeing Communications as a role type? I'm not seeing it in my copy. If you mean Communication within Marketing as a task or permission, that refers to the constituent tile called Email history as I understand it. The tile was supposed to record emails sent from Marketing > Email but also other types of communication, at least when it was first created and released. Someone at BB isn't keeping the actual name of the tile in synch with the option for it in Security unless I misunderstand the option.

    @Lee Grisham Sorry for the delay, I've been out of the office. That wasn't in my copy of RE when I replied last week, now I see it and I agree, I share the confusion. I have no idea what this is. I'll see what I can find out. Ugh, why they release this stuff and not tell us is beyond me.
