Addressee/Salutations cannot download from Lists

Hi,

I tried downloading Addressees/Salutations for a list of 1000 people but I cannot download that in the LIST section of NXT. When I spoke with an agent they said that it is not possible to download in NXT yet. But it's all available in the database view to download.

Let me know your thoughts if you tried to download the salutation list as well,

    @Charini Jayasekera, yes, I would definitely like to download Add/Sals via web view lists. Add/Sals…and a ton of other data points.

    Hi, what is and isn't available on RE NXT List is not something tha posting on Community will change. It will be better if you vote (or add an Idea and post here for voting) on an Idea that add more column and filtering capability to List.

    Query is coming to webview, it is currently on public preview and some of us have access to play around with it already. So that will solve some of your issues when it becomes fully available.

    @Charini Jayasekera AND this is why it is always best to work in Database View. RE NXT is best right now for Fundraisers to look at since it is currently is it more like DUMMIES FOR RAISER'S EDGE. IF you are a database person, Database View is the best to work in. I rarely use RE NXT since there are just a handful of things that it is good for such as Opportunites List, since Database is not very good for that, automatic recurring gifts and maybe a couple other things. I remember when RE NXT made its appearance over 10 years ago and was not impressed with it then as far as data management goes.

    Curious to know what you are trying to accomplish? Do you want to include the Addressee and Salutation for a constituent as an output field in Lists? It definitely cannot be accomplished in webview yet as others have said. I just want to make sure I understand your end goal.

    Yup, I want to download their addressee, salutations for each constituent all at once in a list. That's my goal. In the webview it's not possible at all. But with Query/Export in the RE database view it is very easy to download all of that at once..

    you will be able to do this with Query in webview soon. It is in public preview already, and shouldn't be long before it is available.
