3rd-party platforms - using BBMS as processor & bringing in donations

Looking for clear info on BBMS integration with / donation data feeding into RENXT from non-Blackbaud systems.

Our school has decided to have an outside party build a custom website for an ongoing campaign. We run a yearly campaign on another platform and just import donation data afterwards as it's a 1-2 day campaign. However this will be ongoing, so any way we can save time on regular imports (and associated data cleanup!) will make a huge difference.

The only post re: integration with non-Blackbaud systems I found is this one from 2018 which doesn't say more than the possibility might exist. Any more current info would be appreciated.

    @Daniel Wallach Definitely take a look at the options with Omatic, Importacular and SmartTHING. The tools have different pricing models and some different functionality, but each of these companies has a good reputation within our industry. They all definitely improve on the importing functionality in RE!

    I'm confused as to what the end goal is here @Daniel Wallach. Are you planning on using Blackbaud Checkout on the new custom pages as to have the donations feed into NXT, or are you looking at a true third party donation form and trying to have them processed through BBMS? I think the easiest way to achieve this is to have the pages launch Blackbaud Checkout. I don't think creating a new donation page really solves anything here.

    Building a custom website does not mean you have to build a custom donation form/application.

    Unless there's specific reason why you want to create your own donation form, then stick with donation form platform you already use that is “connected” to RE NXT (i.e. Online Express, Luminate Online, RE NXT Donation Form, RENXT Optimized Donation Form). Then you won't need to think about “integration”
