meaning you did not use any “platform” by Blackbaud, and that it sounds like the donation form is custom build form that charges through Stripe merchant services.

You are going to need someone (or company) that can write python code in Django that invoke the SKY API for creates gift records, requiring logic coded to identify existing constituent or create new constituent (or for better “control” create a “review panel” for existing constituent that has multiple matches and those that are “new” to make sure it is truly new). Either way, the hardest part of this is not the coding, it is to come up with the full process of HOW you want the website donation travel into RE NXT and all the specifics around how the gift record and constituent record needs to be coded. If you can outline all of that out, then coding to your exact need will not be hard with someone having good experience in coding in Django

In case you do want to go down this path, you will need to be as “board” as possible to accommodate “coding” on constituent and gift:

• if you have multiple campaign fund appeal package (CFAP), not basic that everything goes to same CFAP, then you need a mean to allow specifying different CFAP on the donation form that can easily be configured WITHOUT touching the code. You can do this on the donation form level, or on the integration code level where there is a reference table of which donation form is applied what CFAP
• You will also have to consider constituent code (constituent and/or gift) and gift subtype and any gift custom field (attribute in database view terminology) that needs to be on the gift for more data mining use in future.

good data in = good data out, you will want to be able to report on donation form performance, so anything you want to track, will need to transmit over to RE NXT gift and constituent record.

I have come across a lot of vendor who promise the world but deliver a lot less, so just be wary of what is promised and hold them to it by more details in contract.

@Karen Diener We have used online express before but found it quite restrictive - we couldn't get it to look or perform in the way we wanted it to. The appeal of a new website was to give us more control over these things, but it doesn't seem to have actually worked out that way unfortunately. However, as someone else said, the OLX form can be changed if you have the required developer skills, so perhaps this would be the easiest route to go down if we can get a developer to support us in making the necessary edits to the form. I'm definitely going to explore all possible options

Online Express is a completely different product than the donation forms you can build in webview.

When logged in to webview, click the menu stack in the upper left corner of the screen and look for Online Giving under Blackbaud Apps. You need to be given permission to see it, so check your security role (or talk to whoever sets those up if that is not you) to make sure you have access:

I'm not saying that will solve all of your problems. But it is worth including in the due diligence process.
