What is up with the new NXT webview query option

In a sample database I have access to through a company that does Sky API applications, I have been able to try out the new query option under the Analysis menu option in NXT webview. It was pretty neat - as long as the output of any query built in Raiser's Edge database view is available in NXT, you can run it in webview. I found the option in a real database I work in yesterday too, but it said I could not access it without administrator approval, though I am an administrator. I went back today to see if I could try again, and the option is now gone from the NXT analysis menu. What exactly is going on with this feature? When will it be avilable for general use? Anyone know? Thanks!

Query on webview and Query API has been public GA (general availability). So everyone should have it.

If you don't see it, open a support case (you said you are environment admin for RE, so no need for security setting to get access to it)

@Alex Wong I don't think it's available too widely yet. I think it might be rolling out in waves, but the roadmap says it starts rolling out in Q2 through Q3. I still haven't seen it in my organization yet.

Looks like it then. I got confused with this:

which reading it again just means that Query API GA'd, not Query on webview

@Sandra Moore and @Alex Wong - Query API is GA. Query in web view just began Early Adopter Program testing. Our provisioning system inadvertently released the EAP version of Query to more accounts than were strictly in the EAP. The team quickly addressed the issue, and de-provisioned Query from those non-EAP accounts. If the org you work with isn't in the EAP program, Sandra, it would likely have appeared with a message saying you didn't have permissions … and then disappeared.

And that is exactly what happened. Thanks for the explanation Kathryn. I am excited about this feature being in everyone's menu option soon!
