Web View Budget records and reports with NOTES

Hi all,

I am looking for a way to print the budget scenario, with the notes that I entered in webview.

In the database view, it was very easy to enter a note on the account and then print the Budget Detail Report, with notes, and each line item account would have the associated notes for that year.

In the web view, Blackbaud has broken this ability. The Budget Details Report with notes now pulls the first note associated with an account. So, if you have a note in the 2023 scenario, and you enter a new note in 2024 scenario, only the 2023 note will appear. This makes the report useless unless you go back and delete all prior notes.

Blackbaud has been unable to fix this, so now I'm looking for a workaround to print out my account numbers and project budgets, by year, with current notes associated. Does anyone have a workaround?

    Easiest Method , as long as the note is on the line of the budget, use the budget add in to download the budget. If you choose to edit a budget, it downloads what's there as well as the notes. Once you do that it's in excel and can print, email etc.

    Thank you. I forgot about the add-in. I downloaded it a while ago but it didn't work with my version of excel, and I forgot about it when I upgraded.

    This is exactly what I need, especially since Blackbaud doesn't seem interested in fixing the webview version to accomplish this.
