Printing security groups in NXT

I'm curious how to print security groups within Administration in NXT. When I right click on a security group in database view I have an option to print everyone within that group's access in one report but in NXT there doesn't seem to be that option unless I'm missing something. Thank you!

  • In NXT, you can't directly print everyone within a security group's access in one report like in the database view.

  • @Stefanie Gustavsson This is a huge issue for me as well. I need to provide the auditors with copies of our security roles and there's no report in NXT webview that provides this information.

Aside from taking screenshots of the security settings (permissions and tasks) for each security role group in each feature area, i.e. GL, AP, AR, CR, FA, etc, I have yet to find a solution. I was going to drill down to database view and print the security profiles there, but there is a discrepancy between the security role permissions in webview and what is being displayed on the database view security profiles. In NXT webview, the GL security roles prohibit self-approval of batches, but when I print the security profiles in database view, this permission is still checked off.

This is definitely something that needs to be addressed!

  • @Stefanie Gustavsson We've now run into this as well. The Security Profile reports we used to generate in the FE database view are a critical item for auditors. This is a major oversight. Blackbaud Support's solution is to just take screenshots of all the options given to each role, then report on what roles each user has. It's really not a viable suggestion. I've just added a post to the Idea Bank to bring the Security Profile reports (or at least something similar) to the web view. Please vote!
