Trouble Opening Database View?

It seems like everyday after 3pm I can't open the database view of RE. I restart my computer about 2-3 every day and RE still won't open. Wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same problem?

  • @Alexzandra Tellez YES! i'm watching it try to load right now. I had some issues last week that produced an error “cannot connect to server …. please try again in a few minutes." I kept trying and eventually got in. So i never opened a ticket with BB. I can't remember exactly when, but I think I recently installed the latest Citrix update and I'm wondering if that is the issue.

    This has been a recurring issue for several users, and I think there was another thread on it recently. Other users suggested clearing browser cache, logging out and logging in again, or simply waiting a minute or so and trying again. Usually the error goes away on a repeat attempt, and it opens. However, I haven't heard from BB an official statement for what has been causing these errors.

  • @Alexzandra Tellez when I have that problem, I go to Database options in the “stacked coins” menu and I terminate the session, sometimes that helps. If not, I go to the citrix icon on my menu bar, right click it and go to connection center, from there I check if there are any open sessions and terminate them. Sometimes that helps sometimes it doesn't.

  • @Gina Smith I'm wondering the same thing after doing a Citrix update - because I haven't been able to get in. I've tried the article that Blackbaud gave me (didn't work) and even have a ticket in with our IT.
