Teachers can edit and commit assignments/assessments for ALL students- not good

Hello, one of our Upper School teachers discovered yesterday that she can access, edit, and commit assignments and assessments for kids across classes and divisions, not just in her own classes. This is NOT expected behavior, and I'm wondering if other schools are experiencing the same issue, or know how to solve for it. Help!

    Hi @Lauren Henderson -

Yes, it looks like this specifically occurs for users with the role of Advisor. We have a fix queued up to be deployed during our next release.

If you haven't already, I would submit a case to Support to have your case linked to the internal work item. You'll be notified once the release has been pushed to live environments.

@Michael Morrissette Thank you! We have submitted cases this morning. Case # 019855804 and 019855945.

  • @Michael Morrissette We are experiencing the same issue. When an assignment is dropped into a topic tile, a teacher can indirectly access another class's gradebook through the link.
