Allow "Other" Funds/Designations on RENXT Donation Forms

In Online Express, there is a check box to allow “other” funds on the Get started tab below the fund list. Is there a way to add “other” designation (funds) on RENXT donation Forms? Or, is the comment box supposed to be used for this purpose - although it may not be intuitive for the donor? Thank you in advance for your comments.

    @Dina Rieman There is no “other” fund designation for RE NXT donation forms and I view that as a good thing because I always found that option on online express to be problematic since donors can make up anything and you need to connect that to something in the RE which requires you to create a made up fund.

    we added a fund “other” and included it in the “Designation” funds to include option. We then added a comment box that indicated area of support that was free form text.

    @Dina Rieman I was wondering if you’ve been able to figure this out. We are currently at the stage of implementing our giving forms in NXT as well.
