Can we adjust the truncation limit of the fund name on the optimized donor form in NXT?

Hi,

I don't think this is possible, but thought I would ask. On the optimized donor form, the CSS truncates the names instead of letting the name wrap into the white space below. Is there a way to turn that off or increase the limit at which it truncates the text? I have attached an example of a fund with a large name that gets truncated, “Long Example Name Here That is truncated”.

  • I wish there was an update on this. It seems misguided to truncate “Firstname Lastname Memorial Scholarship” to just “Firstname Lastname Me…” when there is more room and it is a cosmetic decision as the full name is already in the page's HTML. It is a CSS rule that is truncating it.

  • @Martin Wolff I would recommend adding this to the idea bank*. Blackbaud says they look to that when considering the functionality that should be prioritized for their dev teams.

Search first, because there may be other ideas and you can add your vote. But if there isn't one already, please add this so others can see and vote on it.

    * The platform for the idea bank is different than that of the community. It initially looks the same, but if you do try to vote on an idea or add a new one, you will be prompted with a login. This is a different login that what you are using for the community.
