Editing constituent name for gift through ODF

I had a donor give through our online donation form and enter her husband's company name in the organization field. A week after approving the gift, she informed us that the gift was from them personally. Is there a way to adjust the gift so that they are receiving the hard credit and not the org? The issue is that they gave with a CC and the gift is attached to the org record and posted.

    @Whitney Shelton You can use web view to move gifts between constituents - the only tricky part here is that it's org to org and individual to individual. What we tend to use is a go-between constituent that we've named “Organisation to Individual Switch record” - so here we would make sure that record was currently an organisation record and move the gift to it from your donor's company in web view. Then go into DB view to switch our switch record to being an individual, go back to web view and then move the gift from our switch record to the actual donor.

    It's some faffing about but it's better than flipping a genuine record between being an organisation and individual and then back again.
