Is there a way to update Vendor Statuses for many vendors at once?

We have a ton of Vendors in Payables that we haven't paid in years. I want to change the Vendor Status to Inactive for all of these old vendors.

I can edit each vendor record individually, but I want to change thousands of records at once.

Is there a way to do this? Or do I need to open a support ticket?

    You can update vendor's through imports. You'd just need to enter in a vendor import where the status is now Inactive , and run the import. Main thing is just building the import file, If you have a query that captures the vendors, you could export that and then just update the status field and import that.

    and how, very specifically, do you do that in NXT web view? I can find bits and pieces about export and import, but nothing that lays this out step by step. I JUST want to change vendor status from “Active" to “Inactive” for a couple thousand old vendors.

    @Kevin were you able to find a solution to inactivating vendors in bulk in Webview. If so, how did you go about doing it?

    You would use the import option, but with a status of Update. This would allow you to update an existing vendor, such as changing their status from active to inactive .
