Is there a plan to add more file formats in NXT?

My problem with opening a CSV export file is some values in alphanumeric fields would automatically convert to numeric.

I don't need my old friends dBase III or Lotus 1-2-3 (man, I feel old!), one of the XLS formats would suffice.

@Ferdie Alayon, we have exporting to excel in .xlxs format for reporting in FENXT webivew at this time. Sounds like you're looking for that for exports, which should be an available option once we do move export to webview in early 2025.

I think she's referring to the format that queries are in. I haven't seen a query in xlsx format. In FENXT they are all in csv format and in database they are available in Excel 97 format. Maybe I'm missing something though.

@Susan Trippe, if that's the case, then yes, I'd agree you're correct and would suggest an IdeaBank suggestion to ask for xlsx format for query exports.

@Ferdie Alayon has this issue been resolved? i am having the same problem. when i export a query from NXT, it defaults to .csv which it causes my account numbers to be translated incorrectly.

No, it has not been resolved yet. It's still a one-click Export button which automatically results in a .csv file. I'll try the Ideabank link Nikki shared below.
