Hi all,

Anyone here using Almabase integrated with Raisers Edge? We have been smooth sailing until now – are having issues with recurring gifts processing. The first one goes through, but the recurrence throws an error that there is an invalid token. We also know that the gift was made using apple pay (not sure if that has anything to do with it).

Almabase is telling us this:

Hi Ashley,

The engineers confirmed what I had shared before. When we process recurring gifts, Blackbaud tokenizes card details and gives us a token, which will be used in the future to process payments. The token is now invalid as the card details are updated.

And Blackbaud support is telling us that we need to use the SKY API Developer to store the information for each card. This is way above my skill level and seems like a lot of work to have to enter for each recurring gift??

    I haven't used the Almabase integration, but I wonder about a couple of things.

    1. Are the gifts being charged/cards processed in Almabase or in RE?
    2. Is the token you're referring to the card information on the gift or the Authorize code on the gift?
