Attendance

In our upper and middle school we are doing per period attendance. It's really difficult to get a real sense of what days a student is absent when everything is represent in a decimal point. We have reports that we have to generate for the court which doesn't understand decimal points in attendance. How can I create a coherent report of days absent and late in Blackbaud using the per period attendance system?

We record period attendance as well. When I look at the progress tab on a student's record and select “work with attendance entries” on the attendance summary tile, I get a fairly comprehensive picture of the student's attendance record. The absences are calculated to display full-day equivalency and also provide a breakdown of the percentage of attendance on a class-by-class basis:

  • @Richard Pan I see the same thing but some of our folks are having trouble honing down on what the exact number of days absent when everything is represented per period?
