journal entries
does anyone have any suggestions for navigating journal entries? I have so many issues moving around. I also find that when I type something into a cell it changes to whatever it feels like defaulting to. I have to almost pause in between everything I type to have it register. I also find that half the time it doesn't register the first key typed. For example if I try to enter 110.00 I end up with 10.00 I do use Excel when I can but that's not helpful when I have to do entries directly in NXT.

Hello,
That is a known issue and it's been reported many times. You can report it too. Everyone reporting the tab between fields issue got them to fix it.

@Jeff Trzaska I'm certain that no one who programs anything in FE has ever been a staff clerk or accountant. Billing Management is better, there are some people there who understand debits and credits, and they are responsive to suggestions and programming mistakes.

@Caylene Zeppa Have you downloaded the add-in for Excel? You fill out the JE in Excel (no delays) and submit it to the GL through the worksheet. https://webfiles-sc1.blackbaud.com/files/support/helpfiles/fe/content/fe-journal-entry-excel-add-in.html?Highlight=excel%20journal%20entry%20. There's also one for the budget
