Adding Addressee and Salutations to All Records

Does anyone have any experience with mass adding AddSals to all records? I'm trying to determine the best way to go about this and I'm having some trouble with importing them.

    If you don't care for any “specific” addressee salutation, and have one “format” you want to use for all, then use Admin > Global Change, otherwise, use Import

    @Cassidy Strei Welcome to the BB Community forums. What issues are you having?

    As @Alex Wong posted, if it's all the same format, global add can be used with a query of all the records you want it added to. I have used that option before. Actually added several formats to a large group of records (just add in sequence you want them to appear on records - can only add one format in each ‘add’)

    Have also done import. Imports can be tricky. The add/sal format # is key to adding them. There is a giant RE import guide that I have found to be helpful.

    Add/Sal start on pg 122. It lists the fields that are required and which are optional.

    Note, even as an experienced user I always test with 2-3 records when I'm doing an import/global add/global change. You want to make sure everything is exactly right. :)
