Continuing my refinement of the In-kind donation process…

Recap of process - I have a flow that is triggered when a Microsoft form is submitted. The flow copies all the information from the form (including links to pictures of the donations) to spreadsheet and sends an Approval to group 1. When someone in group 1 approves the spreadsheet is updated and an approval is sent to group 2. When group 2 approves, the spreadsheet is updated an acknowledgement email is sent to the donor.

I currently use Importacular to import the donations from the spreadsheet to RE mainly because there is a certain amount of recoding that needs to happen. I also import the link to the pictures in sharepoint.

I have 2 questions:

  1. Is it possible to create a flow that will import the gifts to a batch with the necessary recoding?
    Example: If the answer to one of the questions includes specific terms, they are assigned specific Appeals.
  2. Is it possible to upload the pictures as attachments to the gift record?

    1. You can add gift in kind to gift batch with API
    2. Yes/No.
      1. Yes you can upload attachment (pictures) to gift record
      2. No you cannot upload attachment to non-gift record. Combining with your question for #1, if you added the gift in kind gift record into gift batch, before the gift batch is Approved, no “real” gift is created, so you cannot upload attachment yet.
