TABLE IN NEW FORMS MANAGER

I added a table to a form and then dropped and dragged the text fields into the table, but it looks no different than leaving the fields as completely separate text fields. I'm not sure what purpose the table is serving, if someone could explain it to me.

    The Table is a layout option that allows for someone designing forms to lock specific fields into this format. It is limited to a 3 X 3 table grid. It can be layed with the Cokumns layout options to group fields in more dynamic ways.

    @Jason Kelliher I believe that it's possible to add additional columns or rows to the 3x3 basic table. But I'm not sure how to do this - I can't seem to see that functionality. Could you help with this please?

    @Jason Kelliher I am still struggling with table layout and aligning fields horizontally. In addition, how do you add additional rows or columns to the standard 3x3 table? Is there any advice on use of tables or use of columns in the new portal please?
