Annual Attendance Reports

I need to generate attendance data for the school year (i.e.: how many total absences, how many total tardies) for all students regardless of class. Does anyone know of a knowledgebase article that will help me build an advanced list, or even better, an already available report?

    @Scott Albright - I generate some similar reports.

    As you work on this, keep in mind that there is no entry in the database for PRESENT. PRESENT is a conclusion based on the fact that a class was scheduled for a particular day, the class was not marked as “did not meet” and a student enrolled in the class on that day was not marked as absent or tardy. (There may be other criteria involved that I'm not thinking of at the moment.)

    There is a Basic List that may get you what you need.

    If that's not enough, you can build an Advanced List. Mine looks like this:
