With NXT doing our journal entries is frustrating. We have a handful of recurring entries with different amounts every month end, we used to be able to quickly shift down or right to our next entry and I haven't found a quick shortcut to doing this yet. We have tried just the arrow keys, shift+arrow key, tab+arrow and those only increase/decrease the amount in the field we are working in. clicking tab isn't efficient as we have to tab through so many fields to get to the next DR field.

Has anyone found a keyboard short cut or is there a list of short cuts for the program to speed up the data entry side of things?

    Thanks for raising this issue. Have you tried using the “esc” key on your keyboard to exit out of data entry mode and then use the arrow keys to navigate the grid? When in Edit mode the arrow keys might be used to make selections within a cell, but when out of Edit mode the arrow keys can be used to quickly navigate up and down.
    So the flow might be “Edit amount”, “Esc”, “Arrow down”, “Edit amount”, “Esc”, “Arrow Down”, “Esc”.
    It might not be quite as fast as you are used to, but I'd be curious if it speeds up data entry for your use cases.

    We tried hitting the esc key and that instead asks us if we want to close what we are working on, or it does actually just close the journal entry without saving it.
