Try using the cut/paste feature. To the right above each form object is a pair of scissors to cut it.

Then in that same location above another object, you have icons to paste below/above/inside a container object.

If you have field inside containers, be aware of whether you are on the field cut area or the container cut area.

That's the only process that has kept my sanity.
