Can you change org name on donor form acknowledgement email

Hello!

We want to use NXT donation forms and were all ready to but during a test noticed that if you cover processing fees the acknowledgement email details out which part of the donation goes to what and lists the org name. Which would be a fine thing EXCEPT our database is under an old name for our organization.

I think there is a place in settings where I can change the display name - does anyone know if that fixes this? Or is there a way to remove it?

    ok I found in General Settings where I was thinking of and it was already set up with the correct name so does anyone know where the forms are pulling this information from?

    I believe this is automatically pulling in the instance name, and there is no way to update or remove this. I have talked to our account manager, customer success manager, and support and was told they would send this to the products team since we can't adjust it. We can't use NXT donation forms because of this issues and since we support a few organizations under one instance. We use OLX currently.

    thanks for replying Anna…not the news I wanted but good to know I'm not alone. I've tried several other places to change the name but reading this I will stop and escalate through my team as well…ugh! Super bummer as the Optimized Forms are really pretty sweet!

    @Joanne Felci Thanks for posting this in Community. We added the display of your legal organization name prior to Display Name being an available field, which is why its not available today.

    Our donation form teams discussed internally and decided to just remove the name entirely. That line now just says “Gift amount”. You are free to incorporate your organization name, however you want it to display, within the custom text or imagery of your confirmation email.

    This change has been released and we'll be updating documentation soon!

    @Samantha McGuin…I've noticed that the donations are not pulling in the credit card type onto the gift record.

    Is there a setting I'm missing? This is pretty crucial for finance reporting and I'd rather not have to look it up and globally add/import after the fact.

    @Joanne Felci This sounds like a bug - can you submit a support case and we'll take a closer look?
