Modal is opening at top of iFrame rather than relative to button or viewable area

I have a Sky Page that requires scrolling and when I click on a button to open a modal form it opens a the top of the page, right below the omnibar. Is there a way to get the modal to open relative to the button click or at the top of the viewable area rather than having ot scroll to the top of the iFrame content?

    @Alex Wong Just as a typical app, nothing unusual. The SPA application works just fine, it is just where the modal window opens. Is there a specific setting I need to configure? In my local dev environment (not embedded in NXT), the modal opens where I would expect it to.

    The way I setup is with 1 app setup as Page (Preview) extension, and then another app that is the button extention Development Office Home Action (Preview) that “calls” onto the page app

    Notice my pageName parameter is targeting the first app Add-in name

    @Alex Wong I'm still battling this issue a year later, it wasn't at the top of my list of todos. That being said, the modal displays correctly in Chrome and Firefox. In Safari though, if I open a modal dialog, it opens at the top of the SPA and the user might not see it because they have scrolled down on the page.

    not sure why I answered you the way I did last year. You were asking about Modal option not Page option. Apology there.

    As for Modal, I am not certain on the Safari behavior as our org is a PC shop and we barely support Mac user so when I create add-ins in RE NXT, I do not care for checking Safari so don't really know much about it.

    Maybe others have some experience with it that can comment.
