Searching Attachments

Does anyone know if there is a way to search through attachments by the name of the attachment? I found a way to search to see the vendors that have attachments and how many they have, but I cannot see the names of the attachments. I am trying to see if I can store the vendors' W-9s in NXT and then be able to search by name to see which ones are outdated and need to be updated. Thanks!

@Tiffany Robinson, you could run a Vendor Query, wherein the criteria selected is the Media > Media Description (these are the attachments). I would recommend you use the value operator of ‘contains’ to search for the attachments you want to see. You can add the Vendor information you want to see on the Output tab and order it how you'd like. From the results tab, you'll see the vendor records listed and you can click on them to open the vendor record and then you can access the Attachments area and open from there. Some of these can be tricky because it's looking for the source file name and may not be the exact description you have of the type there on the tile.

My suggestion on this would be to actually upload all of these forms to a folder in your organization's shared drive and then utilize the attachment function on the Vendor record to upload the link to those forms rather than having the direct form on the vendor record. This way you can search/sort in your shared drive more easily.
