Written Off Report in Webview

I noticed that the Written Off Report displayed fund description, not fund ID on my report. In database view, it displays fund ID. I found documentation that states that reports in web view will not support user options relating to how the record name is displayed (Fund ID vs Fund Desc). If this is not supported, the written off report needs to be modified to display both fields. We preface all of our funds with two letters that let us know to which foundation the money is going (University or Athletic). We have no idea which foundation the fund is tied to if only fund desc is displayed.

which webview report are you talking about?

you can always run a query in webview too which will have both.

Ok, meaning standard reports (canned report). In Dbview you get a user option to change between ID vs Description, this option does not exists on webview (at least not yet).

For now, you will have to run in dbview or use a query to output fund id and description, use XLOOKUP formula in excel to get Fund ID into the csv report (can't do this using pdf).

@Jill Gerig This sounds like a good thing to add to the idea bank, or vote on existing suggestions if they are there. Even though Blackbaud says it is not in their plans to support user options, if enough of their customers rally around the idea they may devote some development time to this once they have completed moving all functionality to webview.

In my opinion, it is not okay to decide which formatting we need to use. Every organization needs the choice to decide the option that works best for them.

If you create an idea, please let us know so we can vote!
