Been using expense management module & eft processing through Blackbaud since 01 / 01 / 25 & working well.

Did you need to purchase an additional module for EFT processing or is it part of the expense management?

  • @Henrietta Savage we use the EFT in FE-NXT, the only downfall is that you are limited to the number of invoices in a file. we have been fighting this for a couple of years now. we are limited to only two files per day by our bank, and we pay several hundred at one time…. so this makes it quite difficult to process efficiently.

this is the message from Support on the number of invoices:

I am writing to follow up on the open case regarding the issue with EFT emails.

I have investigated on this issue and I found that the actual number of invoices that can be paid at once in a single EFT file in FE NXT may vary depending on a number of factors, including system usage, how complex the database is, and the most important limiting factor is the amount of time it takes the system to process.

In a general sense, it is good practice at this time to keep the number of invoices being processed in one EFT run to under or around 50.

If you are trying to pay more than that it will likely time out, mark everything as paid but not generate the eft file or the PDF if checks are being processed. You need to void everything and recreate it in smaller batches.

EFT isn't part of expense management but a function of AP. Long ago it was sold a la carte but now should be included in most FEFNXT packages
