adding birthdates to help with segmentation

Our organization has not collected birthdays. We are thinking about how to segment our fundraising efforts to target different demographics with different efforts. Has anyone ever heard of a service that can find and append birthdates to records? I'm thinking of something along the lines of emailfinder but for dates. Do you have any other suggestions on how to do this? Thank you.

    @Audrey Katzman I think the easiest way to do this is a prospect screening. Age and birthdates are usually part of the data that comes back from these screenings. I'm not as big a fan of appends.     @Audrey Katzman Hi Aubrey, I know Blackbaud offers Age Finder as an additional service. You can request to learn more from through their website. I got to this link through the Data Health Center in the DB view. My Org recently worked with a company called Peachtree to get month and year of birth for our donors.
