Journal entries to cash accounts without adjusting the bank register

In order to correct a transaction poste in the wrong FY, I need to make a journal entry without adjusting the bank register. I checked the box in settings to allow such entries. I created my JE, and removed the check mark to make adjustments. Whenever I save the JE, the checkmark returns.

Why isnt FE allowing me to post the JE? Currently my bank balance is out to my register, and I cant get it corrected.

    @Dovid Lando For mine after we change that business rule, we have to wait 24 hours (overnight) in order for it to take effect. If we don't wait, then every time you uncheck the box after you save the JE the box gets re-checked

    Sounds like something is not working properly though. I wonder if anyone from Blackbaud monitors these conversations to notice bugs like these.

    @Dovid Lando love the conversation here and that you were able to talk it out together! I will say that most times when you change business rules, it's a good rule of thumb to do a full log out and formal signing back in (i.e. not just closing the tab and reopening FENXT in the same session). If you do that and the business rule change still doesn't stick, please let support know so we can file a defect and get it resolved!

    @Nikki Baldwin I did try the closing the tab, which didnt help.

    I guess this would explain why it works the next day, because overnight we would be forced to do a full login.
