Manually Entering In the Cleared Date for Bank Reconciliations

Hello, would anyone know of a workaround in regards to the following issue? Our organization is trying to complete a manual bank reconciliation in FE NXT and notice that we can't manually enter in a cleared date when clearing transactions. In FE database, we were allowed to click into transactions in our bank register when reconciling an account and check off that the transaction had cleared and then type in the date according to the bank statement that it had cleared. In FE NXT, we can only check off that the transaction has cleared, but we can't enter in that cleared date. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

you can still do that in the regular register. But in the bank rec window, particularly Webview, the clear date is the end date of the bank rec. When you actually finish the reconciliation, it inserts that date as the cleared date. If you want to control it before hand, clear them in the regular bank register window first and that will pull in as cleared with the date you entered.

Do you mind going into a little more detail on your response because this is exactly what I have been trying to do. Where do I go in the register for credit cards in NXT to clear and put the date? When I click on the 3 dots for the transaction, there is no where to check it off as cleared. Am I looking in the wrong place? This is the only register I know under Treasury>Credit Card Accounts. Is that incorrect? Thanks in advance!

@Judith Herring clearing doesn't apply to credit cards. FE looks at those as paid when used in real world and approved. FE doesn't technically “reconcile” Credit card accounts like traditional banks. So there is no “clear” function for credit cards. only transactions in traditional banks.

Oh, ok…in FE we could clear the paid statement charges from the register. Thats what I am trying to do in NXT. Thanks!
