Card Tokenization-Existing donor

We have set up API with our third party agency to get tokenized cards. But we are having difficulty in updating new card details we receive from third party agency of existing active RG donor . What is the current process .Would love to hear so we can improve our process.

    Hi Reshma,

    To confirm, is the API you're referencing feeding data into ResearchPoint and did you mean to post this in the ResearchPoint forum? Or is this in relation to payment processing and/or another Blackbaud software product? Just want to make sure I understand so we can get your question in front of the right experts who may not be watching this forum.

    @Evan Bullock thank you so much for responding. No , the API is not feeding into research point. When our third party agency sends us Tokenized card , we can update and link it for new Regular Donors but for existing donors who already have a Regular Gift in record and updated new credit card details it is not linking the new tokenized card in the main gift. The only solution presented was to terminate parent RG each time we receive new card details and create a new RG with new cc details . I am not sure where I should be posting this , so kindly advice .
