Personal Links to Register for an Event

Is there a way to set up Events and send Invites so each constituent gets a personal link to register for the event that automatically links to their constituent record? We get too many duplicate records.

We send email invitations to only certain constituents in our database. We do not have an open to the general public registration for any event at this point.

    Welcome to the community @Shelly Coerver. No, this isn't possible but I don't know how that would resolve anything. If you are emailing the address that you have, a duplicate shouldn't be created. Even if they respond with a different email address, that can potentially create a duplicate. I was under the impression that the constituent could be matched as part of the online event RSVP process.

    If this were the case, any time a donor forwarded an invitation to another constituent, it would link to the original constituent's record, which would create an even bigger headache. Duplicate management is a routine maintenance function we all have to do from time to time, but it will get better as your data grows.

    This functionality does not exists in RE NXT by default as pointed out by Dariel.

    If you want to achieve this functionality, it will require custom coded dynamically generated form, which can be made on the fly as a custom tile on your event record in RE NXT. This will require knowledge of Power Automate (or any other webapp platform), SKY API, SKY Add-ins, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. If there is a strong desire to do this, you can try to learn this if you have some of the knowledge mentioned already, or you can contract out to Blackbaud partners, or use an independent contractor.
