Banks/Financial Institutions in RENXT?

Hello everyone,

We have been using the Banks/Financial Institutions relationships on our constituent records in RE7, especially when gifts come directly from the financial institution so it's easier to connect them to the right donor. I just noticed that this relationship isn't visible in RENXT - or am I just missing it somehow? If it's not there, has there been any mention of adding it in, or is it likely to be phased out when RE7 is removed and thus we should come up with a new strategy?

    @Robin Kuehn I do not see Banks/Financial Institutions in RE NXT either, just in Database View. BTW, we long term users of RE Database View should NOT have to come up with a new strategy for missing pieces in RE NXT or items that will not carry over from Database. This is total BS. So after decades we are now supposed to rethink something that worked fine and the possibility that there may not even be a work around.

    @Robin Kuehn This is a really good point, and I have not seen it mentioned in any PUBs.

    Alex's suggestion recommendation is the right way, and please post any ideas that you create or vote on so that the rest of us can vote them up!

    @Joe Moretti, THANK YOU for saying this. I wish we were heard! These things we bring up are not optional, they are an integral part of what we do and how we do it. Having to vote on something, hoping that idea is the “squeakiest wheel” to be fixed is ridiculous.

    @Robin Kuehn While I don't remember seeing Bank relationships mentioned in the recent PUB, Direct Debit processing in the UK was mentioned - so I suspect that this could well be coming as this relationship is where the bank details for Direct Debits live for processing via DB view currently.
