Please bring back old way of doing NXT Bank Reconcilations!

Randomly last week, BB made it so when reconciling on the web view side, if you clear a transaction and then save & close, and then go back in, you can no longer see the transaction you already checked off. This makes it much harder to complete a bank rec, if you don't do it all in one shot, and now you can't go back in and uncheck a transaction if it was incorrectly checked off. I'm not sure why this was ever changed, as it just makes our lives harder. Please switch this back!!!

    @Kimberly Frattura and everyone, I've reached out to my products team and they advised this was an issue, not an intentional change. They've advised that the changes should be rolled back and you should recheck the reconciliation at this time. They will have a larger fix released ASAP for this, as well. It was definitely not an intentional change to not allow you to see items that were marked as cleared. Thank you for your patience while this is resolved fully.

  • @Nikki Baldwin Good to know. The original correspondence I got made it seem like this was a permanent change and I could only do recs the normal way on database view (until that eventually went away).

  • @Kimberly Frattura There are all sorts of things going wrong with the Treasury module for us. The Bank Reconciliations were also messed up for us. What I don't understand is that BB doesn't seem to know what is going on--how can they not know that their programming has changed or is having glitches? And customer service just looks up the same things I can read myself in the knowledge base. I don't know if this decline is an effort to get clients to purchase Advisory + or whatever paid technical support they are offering; if so, that is pretty unprofessional. Our Year End is June 30 and I do not have much confidence in this product and BB.

    I've spent so many hours trying to get NXT bank reconciliation to work over the past 5+ years. It so insanely buggy. I'm actually pretty shocked that something so core to accounting, doesn't have more focus. I too wish actual accountants using it before it even gets released. I've had an embarrassing number of support sessions over the years on this.
