Can't approve recurring gifts because they have the red exceptions triangle, but nothing is wrong with them

I have an open ticket for over a month now of recurring donations that won't go through due to “exceptions". However, there aren't any. Does anyone know a way around this? There is no resolution from support as I tried again today.

@Lisa Akins When you hover over the red triangle, what does it say? I opened my gift batch to get to the posted image. In my instance, this is due to the campaign having an end date that is prior to the date on the gift.
@Crystal Bruce I think this is Raiser's Edge NXT.

  • @Lisa Akins - This is in Raisers Edge NXT. When you hover over the red triangle, it says “The required arguement ‘ParentGiftId’ was not assigned a value." However they are the same as all of my other recurring donations.

@Lisa Akins do some searching in the community because I think that error has come up before.

I also think there might be a way to escalate your case. I haven't done that but have heard about it.

If you can identify your customer success manager, email them with the case number and insist that they help. That is part of their job.

Moral of the story is that you can't sit back and wait for customer support. Unfortunately, you'll need to be pretty proactive with Blackbaud.

    Good luck with this!
