Can't delete query linked to pivot table (Updated)

Hello! I am in the process of cleaning up our query tab, and part of that process has been identifying and removing old queries that are no longer being used.

I've come across 2 queries that I cannot remove, due to them being “used as a source for a Pivot Table report and cannot be deleted.” However, under our reports tab, there is no category for Pivot Tables, and when I try to click the report the query is being used in at the bottom of the screen under ‘the selected query is used in the following…’, I get an error message that says “This report requires a valid installation of Microsoft excel(TM) 2000".

I understand that Microsoft integration changed a couple years ago now, but is there any way at all to access these old reports so I can unlink the query and delete them? I have full admin/security access, I'm just not sure where to start.

Thank you!

So, I just got off the phone with Blackbaud Support and was told that this is a known issue but not one they are able to correct. Recommended solution is to create a new category for the affected query and keep them there.

Not the answer I was hoping for, but I suppose it's better to know now rather than spend the rest of the week fighting with it.
