Expense Mgmt - invoices attached to invoice request did not come over to the invoice record

I am working on setting up Expense Management for invoice requests. I did a few requests that were then approved and show up as pending invoices in A/P. However, I just noticed that there was not attachment to the invoice record even though one was attached to the invoice request. Since I've been told that invoice requests are not a separate record from the invoice, why would the attachment not be there?

  • @Karen Edwards They show up in a different box called Expenses rather than Attachments. It confused us also.

  • @Lisa Olscamp Thank you for your response! I did a lot of looking at knowledgebase to try and figure out what happened to no avail. I did also ask support today and happened to scroll down further while on chat and saw where they are located. I put an idea in the Idea bank about having some way to tell that an invoice in the A/P invoice view shows that an invoice came from EM, so we don't think we are missing a bunch of attachments.

    The invoice should have a tile called Expense Management History. Only invoices pulled from EM should have any data in there. That tells you it came from EM and that if there is an attachment from EM, it would be under the tile called Expenses, separate from the Attachments tile like Lisa said.

  • @Kevin Brazellwhen we pull up all invoices in the Payables tab, is there a way to filter just EM invoices from there?
